ECHEZEAUX 1992 : Of all the 1992 Vosne cuvées
( grands crus, premier crus and villages ) presented at the
1994 spring tasting " Vosne Millésime ", the Grand
Echezeaux from Domaine Engel was the most impressive.
Produced from 40 to 50 year old vines
(on half a hectare), with 18 days of fermentation followed
by barrel ageing in one third new barrels: an apparently simple
recipe that is above all, effective.
